They do, They Don't

"But if we're the ones to blame then the fruit
Shouldn't taste so good we were used
Used to thinking we got nothing to loose
We're loosing everything but the truth
Is walking straight into a roadblock ending left here bending
You're point of view was chosen by the serpents ruse"

Pursuit

She felt a glance forced between them, before she even heard the knob of the door turn. Sitting up, the curve of her neck drew him to her, as captivated in this moment as in the prologue. Her heart, on tune with his, sensed this and she cringed at the exasperated elevation. She turned toward the allure and through the dark room his lighted eyes burned through hers. The space between them pulled stronger than the cool air leaking through her fingertips. She smelt through the seduction and the darkness the heaviness of his tongue, and her heart prepared for the familiar, weary drop. She shut her numb, heavy eyes and blinded them both. Holding stronger on what he had attained, the fire in the man pushed through the vacancy to touch her being. He blew smoke into her face, clouding her perception less than the curling undertones in his shout. But as always, the leftover silence was louder than that. For his words, seemed to inspire more than his stroke.

Hypocrite

I am the breathless smile in front of
your silent scream,
the sparkle you wear in front of your terrified eyes
I am the funny part of hitting your elbow
the dangerous part of
crossing the street
I am only the red you see when you think pain
or when you think love
I am the kiss from someone
who is not your mother
the hug from someone who is not
your friend
I am the sunshine that covers
your goose bumps
the noise that is always filling
your head
I am the part of you that wants to hide,
I go no deeper than that
I am the man on the side of the street
with a toothless grin
I am the absolute perfection
of your flawed illusion
I am a lie, a trick, a hypocrite
